• Chewing gum and eating is not allowed during class without instructors’ permission.

  • Only water or still juice are permitted to drink, nothing fizzy. 

  • No jewelry should be worn, as this could cause injury.

  • Mobile phones should be switched off  and put away during class.

  • No electronics, i.e. iPods, iPads, cell phones, video games etc. are allowed to be in use during camp

  • Mr.D’s Music Club and its staff do not accept responsibility for damage, loss or theft of any personal belongings. Leave valuables at home.



  • Comfortable, casual street clothing. Bring shorts to change into weather permitting.

  • Lot’s of liquids. We will have fresh water available for refills.

  • Bring a yoga mat or large towel on Yoga days. Usually Thursday.

  • A book or magazine for Quiet Time. We have books and games too.



Parents will need to sign their child in and out each day. If someone else is picking your child up, their name must be on the list provided by the parents and they must show a picture ID. We cannot, and will not, release your child to someone who is not listed on your registration form and who does not have ID. These can be added to your MOMENT account. 

Please let us know in advance if you give your child permission to walk home. Parents/caregivers must accompany your child for sign in and sign out. Please make sure to write in your initials and the time legibly. If we cannot read it you will be charged for 2 hours.  

NOTE:On Monday to keep things smooth you are welcome to drop your child off as early as 8:30.

Please DO NOT drop off your child before 8:50  any other day unless you are using extended care, you will be charged.




  • All children should bring lunch and snack for morning and afternoon (we play hard so extra snacks are essential), water bottle (this can be refilled throughout the day). Names should be clearly marked. Please no soda. Water or still juice only.

  • FRIDAY PIZZA DAY: We order cheese pizza on Friday. There will be a nominal $12 charge for this.  Lunch includes 3 slices of pizza, fresh lemonade, Home baked treats and popsicles. Please let us know 24 hours in advance if you want this. It’s optional.



Disruptive, disrespectful or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from the Mr. D’s Music Club with no refund. DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE:  The following steps will be taken.

  • The instructor will give the child a verbal warning.

  • If the child's behavior does not improve or a similar incident occurs again, the child will be given a "time out" and not allowed to take part for the next class.

  • If aggressive, violent, bullying, disrespectful behavior is repeated over a period of time and is disrupting the other children, the parent/guardian will be contacted and advised to remove the child from the class. The child will then be excluded from any other future Mr. D’s Music Club classes. 

  • There is a zero tolerance for violent behavior. Hitting, kicking, biting, slapping etc. Your child will be removed from class and you will be expected to collect him or her within the hour. 

  • There will be no refunds. 



In the unlikely event of a problem or emergency the instructors will contact you using the details you have provided us. You must advise us of any changes to your emergency contact information. Parents should expect to pick children up in the Church parking lot. We will run through our emergency evacuation drill on the first day of class.


Please be on time when picking up your child. A late fee will be assessed at the brutally exorbitant rate of $10 per 10 minutes.  You will be asked to pay at the time of pick up. I apologize for this, but please understand that our contract and insurance liability only allows us to be in the building until 5:30 pm. After that we are charged a hefty late fee. 


If your regular pick-up time is 3:30pm and you are late, you will be charged the extended care rate (see below) and then the $10 per 10 minute late fee after 5:30pm.



You will receive an invitation to sign up with Moment. Please do so as soon as you receive it and make sure you complete your registration. Moment is wonderfully easy and intuitive to use and allows us to connect in real time throughout the day. You can add family members, care givers etc. We can send photo’s and clips of the days events and you can let us know if you are running late or someone else is picking up your child. 




If you would like to add extended care for the week, you will be asked to pay the first day of camp. You can add extended care as needed, You can pay daily or at end of week. We accept cash or check or credit card. 

If you signed up for extended care but haven’t yet paid you will be asked to pay on the first day of camp. Extended care is $10 if paid in advance and $12 per hour for drop in (8:00 – 9:00am and 3:30-5:30pm).  PM care includes a reasonable healthy snack. Keep in mind that our show is at 3:15 ish  on Friday and you may not need extended care that day.




St. Peters Church is located on Broadway at 6013 Lawton Ave. 


Heading east on highway 24 take the Broadway exit and turn right onto Broadway. The church is half a mile down on your left.

West on 24 from Orinda Take Broadway exit and make a left. The church is half a mile down on your left

From Downtown Oakland/Jack London Square take Broadway (faster if you take Telegraph and then turn right on 51st) heading north for approximately 6 miles. Church will be located on your right.  


 Parking is in the church lot on Lawton. The entrance to the hall is on Lawton, alongside of the building, downstairs.
