About Mr. D's Music Club
Mr. D's Music Club started with one week of summer camp in 2011. From there it has grown into a much loved summer camp and after school program for children in Oakland and beyond serving hundreds of kids annually. Each year Mr. D's Music Club is recognized for the quality of its programs and the inspiration they bring to young kids.

Summer 2020 has been the biggest challenge yet. Due to COVID, Mr. D's Music Club had to transition quickly to live online creative arts programs. Thus, the Creative Spaces were born. Through thoughtful program creation, Mr. D's Music Club has brought the magic of its camps to the online world of Zoom. As much as we long for the in-person experience, we are thrilled to be able to continue working with young kids who want to explore the arts, feel a deep connection to their artistic passions and connect them with professional Teaching Artists who are committed to inspiring children during this difficult time.

About Mr. D
Award winning singer / songwriter, composer, producer, and owner of Mr. D's Music Club, Stephen Duffy has been in and around the music business for more than twenty years.
Stephen is a musician with a long creative history in the music industry in Britain and California. Stephen has recorded and/or produced over a hundred albums and has been commissioned to compose for theater, dance, and video. He was also a Music Director at several schools throughout the Bay Area for 10 years.
Stephen is also an avid futbol fan, Manchester United is his passion! He’s the founder of the “Sunday Hooligans” recreational adult soccer team and was the founder of the Hooligans Soccer cup, an annual soccer tournament that raised money for children's charities around the world. He is also the founder of, and singer with, Bay Area band "Handsome Poets". His current musical project is the spooky pop band "That Man Fantastic".
He is married and is the proud father of 2 girls and a boy and lives in Oakland CA.
