About Mr. D's Music Club
Mr. D's Music Club started with one week of summer camp in 2011. Since then, it has grown into an award-winning performing arts program for kids in Oakland and the East Bay, recognized by Oakland Magazine, Parents Press, and Bay Area Parent.
Our summer camps give kids ages 8–12 a place to sing, act, dance, and create art alongside professional Teaching Artists, then share it all on stage at the end of each week. Teens ages 13–14 can join our Leaders-In-Training program to build leadership skills while helping bring camp to life.

About Mr. D
Award winning singer / songwriter, composer, producer, and owner of Mr. D's Music Club, Stephen Duffy has been in and around the music business for more than twenty years.
Stephen is a musician with a long creative history in the music industry in Britain and California. Stephen has recorded and/or produced over a hundred albums and has been commissioned to compose for theater, dance, and video. He was also a Music Director at several schools throughout the Bay Area for 10 years.
Stephen is also an avid futbol fan, Manchester United is his passion! He’s the founder of the “Sunday Hooligans” recreational adult soccer team and was the founder of the Hooligans Soccer cup, an annual soccer tournament that raised money for children's charities around the world. He is also the founder of, and singer with, Bay Area band "Handsome Poets". His current musical project is the spooky pop band "That Man Fantastic".
He is married and is the proud father of 2 girls and a boy and lives in Oakland CA.
